What is EURUSD Journal?
EURUSD Journal is a privately run trading journal and independent research project. It follows, analyses and publishes the operation of a proprietary system for EUR/USD. The system combines MetaTrader 5 market data, technical-analysis algorithms, machine-learning models and in-house decision rules. Its activity is shown through a live panel, a chronological record of closed trades, performance charts, and screenshots captured when positions are opened and closed.
Scope: EUR/USD on the M30 timeframe, with a dedicated data feed, trade history and archive of opening and closing charts.
Nature: an analytical, research and educational record.
Access: public and free of charge. The portal does not run user accounts, hold client money or place orders on behalf of visitors.
Why the project was created
The aim is to provide the clearest possible view of proprietary models and strategies in live market conditions. The portal is not designed to display successful trades alone. It records the system’s wider operation, including periods without trades, set-ups rejected by filters, losing positions and technical interruptions.
- observing how AI models behave in live markets;
- comparing strategies, filters and ways of combining data;
- maintaining a chronological record of system decisions and trades;
- presenting results in numerical and graphical form;
- continuing to develop and test proprietary analytical methods.
What is published
The public panel shows the current system status and the data recorded once a trade has closed. Separate portals for each market keep EUR/USD results distinct from those of other instruments.
- the current position status, BUY or SELL direction, and time of the latest update;
- entry time and price, current market price, and result in points;
- stop-loss and take-profit levels, expressed in points where the configuration provides them;
- a dedicated record of closed EUR/USD positions;
- a cumulative-results chart and a chart showing each trade separately;
- opening and closing charts showing the surrounding market context;
- optional notifications when the system status changes.
History transparency
The history is intended to show the full sequence of closed trades, rather than a selection of positive results. Each record may include entry and exit times, direction, prices, result in points, maximum drawdown, cumulative result, closing reason and links to charts. The images provide context for where the position was opened and closed.
The data may be archived before a new observation period begins. EUR/USD is handled separately, allowing a fresh series to start without affecting the record for another market.
A research project, not an off-the-shelf investment product
EURUSD Journal does not promise profits and is not a ready-made investment system. Models, filters, strategies, presentation methods and execution parameters may change over time. As a result, performance from different periods may not be directly comparable.
The project does not claim that the system is flawless. Its purpose is to record the system’s operation, strengths, errors, losses and limitations as candidly as possible.
Editorial independence from advertising
Trade data, the historical record, charts and methodology are produced independently of advertisers. Advertising will be kept separate from the trading panel and cannot determine BUY or SELL direction, trade selection, data archiving or the calculation of results. The appearance of an advertisement does not endorse the product, broker or service concerned.
